What recognition has Learning Re-Engineered received?

Excellence isn't something I talk about. It's something I build into every part of the work and let other people notice. Over the past several years, organizations outside of Learning Re-Engineered have recognized the standard behind the instruction, the platform, the community, and the way the business itself is run.

Here is what they saw.

In 2021, Western Governors University awarded me the Excellence Award for Outstanding Curriculum Design in Technology Production for the design of a research-grounded Arabic language curriculum. That project required building a full instructional sequence that honored both the content and the learners it was designed for. It had to be engaging, structured, and grounded in how the brain actually processes new information.

That's the same standard behind every program and resource at Learning Re-Engineered. The subject changed. The approach didn't.

In 2026, the Black Teacher Collaborative awarded me the Community Cultivator Award for uplifting others and building belonging. The Black Teacher Collaborative is a national organization dedicated to supporting Black educators in designing learning experiences rooted in community, identity, and care.

This recognition didn't come from a panel that reviewed an application. It came from educators who watched how I show up in community. That matters because the same values that earned this award are the same values your child experiences inside every session. Students learn more deeply when they feel like they belong. Building belonging is part of the work here, not separate from it.

Even how the business is run reflects the same standard.

In 2021, I was named the Winner of the Great Green Tutor 30-Day Challenge by The Online Tutor Coach for planting over 200 trees in 30 days and building a more environmentally conscious online tutoring business.
